See
map of Scripps Cottage on the SDSU campus. Here is a printable version of
the entire campus (pdf). Scripps Cottage and Park is Building 41,
west of the Love Library (Building 54) and east of Parking Structure 4
(Building 82). It is located at the bottom of a sloped lawn and
has a turtle pond directly in front so it should be relatively easy to
find. The best place to park is Parking Structure 4 or Lot
W.
Driving from Interstate 8: Exit College Ave and go south towards
campus,
turn right (west) at light which is Canyon Crest Drive, follow this
road about 3/4 mile to stop sign. On the right is Parking
Structure 4, on the left and below is Lot W.
Park in Parking Structure 4, take the pedestrian bridge through "West
Commons" (food court) and about 100 yards on the right will be Scripps
Cottage.
From Trolley Station: from the SDSU Stop, head left towards the
Aztec Sundial/Monument, go right and follow the walkway till you come
to a lawn on your left. Scripps Cottage is at the bottom of the
lawn next to the turtle pond.
Look for student members marking the path the day of the meeting.
Feel free to call Skip Howard, the SDSU ASME Student Section Chair, if
you are getting tired of touring the campus. Skip's cell phone
number is 760-207-9029.
