This annual end-of-year event is the opportunity to honor and recognize:  the recent Science Fair winners, the UCSD Mechanical Engineering student paper winners, the 25-yr and 50-yr ASME members, a company that has been a strong supporter of San Diego Section, and your local volunteers.  The banquet will be held on Friday, May 16, 2003, at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse in Harbor Island.

The Science Fair winners have been invited to display their winning projects.  The UCSD ME students have been invited to present their papers.

48 PERSONS ATTENDED THE BANQUET.  THE SCIENCE FAIR PROJECTS AND THE UCSD PROJECT WERE WELL RECEIVED.  THESE STUDENTS MADE ME (YORK LEW) FEEL DUMB.  I MIGHT NOT ATTEND NEXT YEAR (JUST KIDDING).
