TOUR OF KYOCERA AMERICA, INC.
Kyocera America, Inc. operates a 288,000 sq ft manufacturing center in San Diego, as well as a network of 11 direct sales offices and five design centers to create engineering partnerships with customers all over the world. Kyocera America, Inc. also works closely with Kyocera Mexicana, S.A. de C.V. of Tijuana, Mexico to meet the broadest possible range of semiconductor packaging needs as the world's Total Package Supplier.
A tour of the facility is planned for Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at 2:00 pm. The tour will cover various process steps and equipment used in the manufacturing process including printing, firing, plating, and assembly. 1. Your full name.
2. Your country of citizenship (non US citizens will be allowed).
3. Name of your employer.
4. Your title.
5. Your ASME membership number (you must be a current ASME member or be a guest of a member)
This information is required to be submitted to Kyocera America prior to the tour. The tour site is 8611 Balboa Ave., San Diego CA, 92123. The tour will be limited to 25 people and will last approximately 90 minutes. Please meet at 2:00 pm in the Kyocera main lobby. Visitor parking is in the front of the building off of Balboa Ave, on either side of the lobby. No cameras or cell phones will be allowed. Everyone will be required to sign in and present ID.
