50 members and friends of the ASME and Mid-Continent Railway Museum were on had
for the ceremonies.

ASME’s William DeFotis reviews the
history and significance of the Landmark program.

This
permanent bronze plaque was presented by ASME to the Mid-Continent Railway
Museum to be appropriately displayed and designate the Montana-Western #31
railcar as an Historical Mechanical Engineering Landmark.

Mid-Continent Railway Museum. Shown,

Vice-president.
Descendants
of the inventor, Dr. Herman Lemp: Lisa Lemp Cheney (great-granddaughter), Dr.
Herman Lemp (grandson), and Diana Lemp (great-granddaughter).
