The Great Northern 2313-Montana Western 31 Historic Mechanical Engineering
Landmark Designation Ceremony is about three weeks away--Saturday August 16th.
Here are some photos of some of the people working on the ceremony.
Michael Casper and John Welter are University of Wisconsin-Madison students.
Michael is the president of the ASME student section. Fred Biederman is a
Chicago section member. His photograph was taken by a tourist at the museum.
Fred joined Samir EL-Khabiry, Rock River Valley Chair; Diane Peters,
Chicago Chair; and David Mattoon, Chicago Secretary in a planning meeting for
the ceremony.
