The ASME Midlands biodiesel processor! |

Spring 2010 semester ASME, three mechanical engineering students from USC, and others fabricated a portable biodiesel processor. This 40+ gallon processor treats waste vegetable oil, reacts the oil with catalyst to create biodiesel, then washes and dries the fuel. This reactor will be used to demonstrate alternative fuels to schools, and be used for display at local events. To the students, Randy, Cedric, and Jason, and to Dr. Morehouse, and to Solution Services, thank you all for all of your hard work! |
