Sr. Railway Vehicle & Track Project Engineer

CTLGroup, a major consulting, testing, and research engineering firm offers a unique
opportunity for an experience railroad vehicle and track components engineer. This
engineer will work with clients to develop new designs, qualify products per specifications,
and resolve service related problems through mechanical testing; will be fully responsible
for multiple complex projects; will develop business with current and new clients, write
proposals and reports, give presentations and serve on professional committees.

This position requires 10 yrs. related experience including 5 yrs. in evaluation and testing of
railroad vehicle components and rail, tie, and fastener systems. Requires a B.S. or M.S in
Mechanical or Civil Engineering and working knowledge of lab testing. Must have sound
engineering judgment and decision making skills and excellent interpersonal, oral, and
written communication skills. P.E. a plus.
