Wilmington NC

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a nonprofit professional organization of 125,000 members.
There are over 2,000 members in North Carolina alone.

The Coastal Carolina Section (CCS) is part of Southeast District F, with its Headquarter City in Wilmington, NC. The CCS was organized in 1974 as a Group of the Eastern North Carolina Section. It was approved for Section Status in 1985. The CCS territory encompasses 10 counties including Blade, Brunswick, Carteret, Craven, Columbus, Jones, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico, and Pender. The Section currently has 131 members.

Through participation in ASME local section activities mechanical engineering professionals can serve the community and develop skills and knowledge.
