Employment Opportunity : Technical Sales Representative – Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX Area

Dustcontrol AB , www.dustcontrol.com was established 1972. The corporate headquarters is located outside of Stockholm, Sweden. Dustcontrol, Inc. U.S. headquarters is located in Wilmington , North Carolina . The USA organization designs, builds, and installs custom source capture environmental systems for industries such as: Aerospace, Printing Press, Pharmaceutical Facilities, Fiberglass, and Laboratories.

Technical Sales Representatives:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our systems products into existing and new major accounts located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth and surrounding area. Primary focus shall be the Aerospace and Life Sciences markets. The primary product lines include Dustcontrol systems used in a variety of ways to provide material transport and dust collection. Dustcontrol also has a complete line of portable vacuum systems and accessories.
  • Territory and locations - Central U.S. Dallas/Ft. Worth and Central US .
  • Focused Markets and Customer Base include key accounts in the Aerospace and Life Sciences markets. Dustcontrol has historically installed products into many market segments including transit, boat and RV, composites, and metal working.
  • Five or more years of outside sales and/or technical application/ sales engineering experience selling custom engineered solutions and products to clients with a verifiable history of exceeding assigned sales and customer retention objectives.
  • A minimum of 2 years of this experience in key account sales and/or large account management.
  • Strong background in selling custom systems as capital equipment into major business units.
  • Experience with establishing and driving customer and market specific strategies
  • Established relationships with key buying influences in current Dustcontrol, markets preferred.
  • Knowledge of military bid management and military procurement processes a plus.
  • Creative, innovative and able to independently recognize and exploit sales growth opportunities.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Entrepreneurial orientation with the self-direction, organizational and communication skills and attention to detail needed to get the required results.
  • Unquestioned personal integrity and reliability. Keeps commitments, admits mistakes, and accepts responsibility for all personal and team output and results, and acts in the best interest of Dustcontrol and customers at all times.

Skills/Qualifications :

  • Engineering, Business or Technical Degree The successful candidate must be capable of being the Dustcontrol systems specialist representing the products and services in a manner which provides solutions to customer requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations having diverse components and reduce to basic process parameters.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen to requirements as established by the customer. And, the ability to combine these known requirements with a personal assessment of process environment needs and establish a complete Dustcontrol system solution.
  • Ability to conceive and design custom solutions utilizing Dustcontrol products to solve customer process problems.
  • Ability to relate government regulations into process requirements in a factual but non threatening manner.
  • Formal training in consultative selling techniques, strategic selling and account management strongly preferred. (Value selling experience).
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, outgoing personality, team player and the drive to succeed
  • Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record are necessary
  • Willingness and ability to travel a minimum of 60%.

Initial Training:

  • A combination of formal classroom level product and technology training conducted at the home office.
  • Short specific subject tele-training seminars given regularly.
  • Intensive hands on training while participating in an actual system installation and validation project.

Compensation:

  • Base salary based upon experience plus commission plan
  • Medical, dental, eye ware coverage
  • 401k
