Position: Mechanical Engineer

Description: Axcera, a leading supplier of television transmission equipment for the broadcast and mobile media industries worldwide, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer. Metalwork design and thermal analysis of electronic equipment, generally in standard racks are the main skills needed, air and water-cooling systems a plus. SolidWorks and AutoCAD familiarity preferred. Must have experience in thermal modeling of electronic power equipment cooling systems, in kilowatt and above range, and mechanical packaging of same with air and water-cooling. This is a mid-career position, which requires a BSME or equivalent experience.

Position: Engineer II

Type: Permanent

FT/PT: FullTime

Description: Dominion East Ohio, Cleveland-based gas distribution subsidiary of Dominion currently service more that 1.2 million residential, commercial, and industrial customers in 400 eastern and western Ohio communities. We currently have the following opportunity in our North Canton, Ohio location: Engineer II - The work includes planning, directing, scheduling, controlling and commissioning various gas distribution, gathering and transmission projects to comply with regulatory, gas industry and Dominion initiatives. This role requires engineering, project management and strategic planning. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.

The Mechanical Engineer II performs various design, proposal and troubleshooting/inspecting activities on heavy bulk material handling equipment, including preparing all of the necessary technical data to design, modify or retrofit heavy bulk material handling equipment, reviewing the contract requirements, selection of equipment designs, preparation of required calculations and specifications, and reviewing design drawings as they are prepared. Supervises the installation of equipment in the field and responsible for the preparation and presentation of training seminars.

Position: Mechanical Engineer Test

Position: TWO

Type: Temporary Duration - One year

FT/PT: FullTime

Description: Job requires a degreed mechanical engineer to work as key representative from Compliance Engineering, to measure and report product performance to certain industry standards. Job requires working with product engineers to assess product, determine detail test plans and then determine product performance through testing. Previous experience working on formally managed technical projects will be an advantage.

Skill Sets: Solid mechanical engineering skills backed with a four year Mechanical Engineering degree. Work efficiently and effectively within a Team environment. Good communication skills.
Must be able to relate to Team members and communicate the right information at right level of detail to fit the situation and need.
Good organizational skills.
Good hands on mechanical skills, willing and able to perform lab testing work. Ability to read, understand and apply industry technical specifications.
Knowledge of ASME codes such as BPVC, B31.1, B31.3, an advantage.
